The City of Des Plaines sponsors a number of free events that celebrate the spirit of this great community. So, save the dates and round up some friends to check out the annual Taste of Des Plaines event in June, annual Community Fireworks and Independence Day Parade to celebrate July 4^th and the Food Truck Round Up events throughout summer. 

In the fall, swing by Oakton College's campus for the Harvest Hoot, and have some festive fun at the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony and Winter Fair in the Square in December.
