Meet Your City Clerk - Jessica Mastalski 

Clerk Mastalski is the official record keeper for the City Council and other City public bodies. The City Clerk’s Office is also the Municipal Public Information and Resource Center. Clerk Mastalski and her team are committed to serving the City and our residents with prompt, high quality service. Clerk Mastalski is committed to making information transparent and easily accessible to the public through this website and interactions with her office. 

The Clerk's Office responsibilities: 

  • Freedom of Information Act Requests (FOIA)
  • Maintain a record of City Council proceedings
  • Prepare and distribute meeting notices and minutes
  • Serve as the Local Election Official and work closely with the Cook County Election Division
  • Assemble and distribute resident Welcome Packets 
  • Retain and administer the corporate seal

The City Clerk is elected city-wide and serves a four-year term.
