Business Assistance Grants, administered by the City of Des Plaines, help expand and improve daily operations.

New construction, substantial rehabilitation, or the re-occupancy of abandoned industrial and commercial properties could be eligible for tax incentives through Cook County government in the form of reduced real estate assessments. 

Businesses investing in the City's Tax Increment Financing Districts can benefit from improved infrastructure investments and other incentives that come from the growth in property tax revenues in that district (or the tax increment).
