The Illinois and Cook County Department of Public Health indoor mask mandate requirements will end Monday, Feb. 28. Masks will still be required where federally mandated (including on public transit), health care facilities, congregate settings, long term care facilities and daycare settings. Private businesses may choose to implement their own masking requirements. Proof of vaccination for patrons in businesses under this order will no longer be required.
